Took the family to Carova, NC yesterday for a day on the beach. It’s a bit of a pain to get there since I have to drive 65 miles south to the Outer Banks then make a left and drive 30 miles north to Carova. But it’s a great place to go. The road ends in Corolla and from there its 4 wheel drives only. We had no one within a quarter mile of us. Only had to look out for passing vehicles since the beach is actually considered a road down there. The weather was perfect. It was about 85 degrees, a few clouds here and there, and low humidity. Beach was a challenge when leaving since the sand was so soft, and we couldn’t find a good set of tracks to follow. I should have probably let some air out of my tires but didn’t.
